Medior BI Consultant

As an (all-round) BI Consultant, you work independently within project teams and play a key role in developing and maintaining Power BI dashboards, data models, and data warehouses.
This is what you will do as a Medior BI Consultant
As an (all-round) BI Consultant at Axelio, you work within project teams for clients and carry out your tasks independently. You are responsible for the development and maintenance of Power BI dashboards, data models, data warehouses, and the associated ETL processes to extract data from source systems.
In this role, you translate the client's wishes into advice and suitable solutions within the BI environment. You have knowledge of data warehouses and ETL processes within the Microsoft Data Platform, working with SQL, Data Factory, Databricks, and Fabric. Most of our BI projects are based on data from ERP systems, which means you will often deal with data and reports on logistical and financial business processes. Additionally, you will mentor a junior colleague and guide them in executing projects.
Your tasks
- Analyzing the information needs of the client.
- Modeling and designing the required data warehouse architecture with our own tools.
- Unlocking various data sources to the data warehouse in Azure.
- Developing dashboards and apps in Power BI.
- Developing the presentation layer in SharePoint and reports with Microsoft BI tools, such as Power BI, Excel, and Reporting Services.
- Acting as an ambassador in the BI field within and outside the organization and actively participating in knowledge sharing within Axelio.
What you can expect from us
You earn between €4,000 - €5,500. You can also receive additional bonuses, depending on your performance and that of the organization.

What we expect from you
- At least a bachelor's degree in computer science, (technical) business administration, or ICT.
- Experience with reporting from ERP systems, Power BI, Azure, Fabric, Power BI, SQL, Python.
- You are a team player with strong analytical skills and a results-oriented mindset.
- Certificates in the Microsoft BI stack or willingness to obtain them.
- Creativity in finding the best solution for the client.
- Willingness to travel occasionally domestically and internationally.
- Excellent command of both Dutch and English, both spoken and written.
