Manager Consultancy and Projects
Due to our growth ambitions, Axelio is looking for an energetic and driven Manager Consultancy & Projects. With your drive, you will guide, manage, and develop our consultancy team and project managers so they can bring out the best in themselves.
This is what you will do as Manager Consultancy & Projects
As Manager Consultancy & Projects, you are the driving force behind our consultancy team. You combine your experience in consultancy and leadership with a hands-on mentality and a clear vision of digital transformation. You:
- Provide daily leadership to the consultancy and project management team for the products Agrio and Billio.
- Are responsible for the optimal deployment and (resource) planning of our business consultants.
- Actively contribute to building a modern, efficient, scalable, and future-proof consultancy department.
- Monitor, together with the responsible project managers, the progress of ongoing projects.
As Manager Consultancy & Projects, you are part of the Agrio Management Team and play a key role in translating our vision into concrete actions and results within the Agrio business unit. You translate strategic themes such as the application of AI, which plays a central role in our vision, into a clear training and application policy for our consultants. This ensures that innovation is not only discussed but also actually integrated into daily practice.
You know how to inspire and motivate your team to get the most out of themselves. By providing structure and clear direction, you ensure that the team works efficiently and contributes to the organization's growth goals.
In addition to operationally leading consultants and project managers, you take Axelio to the next level: a modern organization with scalable services. You initiate and realize improvement initiatives that optimize our operational activities and services. Standardization, scalability, efficiency, and customer satisfaction are self-evident pillars for you. Importantly, you know how to bring this to operational execution and implement it.
You will work in a 'down to earth' work environment, with a diverse range of tasks and room for initiative. You are one of the driving forces behind the further professionalization of our operations and crucial in establishing and executing process improvements that support our growth.
This is what you can expect from us
You will earn between €5,000 - €7,000. You can also receive additional bonuses, depending on your performance and that of the organization.
We offer you a mobility budget that you can use for a lease car, a lease bike, public transport, or can be paid out as a gross compensation.
A good balance between work and private life is important and varies for everyone. At Axelio, you get 28 vacation days and have the option to buy or sell 5 days.

You are someone who knows how to translate the business vision into concrete objectives and improvement initiatives for your team. With your strong communication skills, you act as a connecting link between different departments and know how to provide direction and guidance to your team. When team members need you, you are there for them. You make your colleagues feel valued and empower them. You do this through a coaching style of leadership and by facilitating the necessary improvements regarding processes and structures.
You recognize yourself in the following:
- You are an involved, hands-on manager who is close to the team. Through your proactive and coaching style of leadership, you inspire, connect, and guide people towards achieving results.
- Able to initiate initiatives and actually implement them from start to finish.
- Demonstrable experience in managing teams and improving and structuring departmental processes.
- You have a completed higher professional education/university degree, preferably in business informatics, business economics, or a similar field.
- Other qualities you recognize in yourself are: analytical, decisive, planning, organizing, result-oriented, and assertive.
- You are proficient in both spoken and written Dutch and English.
